My Windows 7 is suddenly invalid…?
I just got my laptop back from the repair shop. They fixed a broken seam on the edge and replaced the keyboard. Nothing software-related. Now, out of the blue, Microsoft is claiming that my Windows 7 is invalid. My laptop came with Windows 7 already installed when I bought it over a year ago. I haven’t downloaded any illegal copies of it. What am I supposed to do?
I downloaded Remove WAT.
It gets rid of the raging microsoft notifications saying it’s invalid.
Mine isn’t illegal and the same thing happened to me.
Google Remove WAT and it should be one of the first links, install it, then run it and click the remove button. It should be good as new then.
(Just a note that using this can void warranties, I’m not sure about it myself as mine ran out a while ago but I’ve heard that it can do so thought I’d include it, as it also removes the notifications even if it is an illegal copy so Microsoft aren’t too fond of it. If you don’t mind that then go for it)
