how can i make Garage Door buttons wireless on a old door that r not wireless now?
If you can get to the connections on the current switch, you can use that to access the opener. You can purchase a replacement receiver and transmitter at a lot of places. I bought my last set at Sears. They are often used to upgrade a current wireless system for the newer, more secure technology.
You simply connect the new reciever’s output to the current wall switch. Plug it into a power outlet and you are fine.
It does not have to be the same brand if you can access the connections on the current switch. That is the key to the solution.
