Difference between two DVD optical drives?
1st laptop-
optical drive=Double-layer DVD±RW/CD-RW,
speed=”6x DVD+R DL; 6x DVD-R DL; 8x8x8 DVD+RW; 8x6x8 DVD-RW; 5x DVD-RAM; 24x24x24 CD-RW”
2nd laptop-
optical drive=DVD±RW/CD-RW
speed=8x DVD-ROM; 48x CD-ROM
What’s the difference in the optical drives? Would I be able to copy downloaded DVDs and copy hard copy DVDs in both?
Well the 1st laptop says “Double-layer” and “double layer” DVD are DVD onto which you can write on both side.. conclusion, The 1st laptop can read and write on those type of DVD while the 2nd one cannot.
