How to reconfigure a Mouse?
Ok so my not so mighty wired mac mouse just broke and I didn’t feel like dropping 70 bucks for an expensive one from apple so I ran over to Wal Mart and got a 25 dollar one it’s called a Targus Optical Retractable kaleidoscope I didn’t even notice the word kaleidoscope until now and the damn colours are driving me insane. Anyways I miss my expose feature and I want to assign the right click button to expose because i use it more than right click. How can I do it on a mac. Plus if anyone has an Idea to stop the light from changing colors all the time let me know.!
Easy, go into your System Preferences (the light switch with the apple logo on it), then go to DASHBOARD & EXPOSÉ then at the bottom where it says ALL WINDOWS, on the right dropdown box, select SECONDARY MOUSE BUTTON and *tada*.
As for the mouse colors, I’m not seeing anyway to change/stop them. Maybe next time you should pay a *little* more attention when buying something, but it’s happened to the best of us. Try this, go into the system preferences and KEYBOARD & MOUSE and see if there’s an option there, if not… in your system preferences (again) on the very bottom, see if there’s an icon for the targus mouse, click on it and see if it has an option. If it’s a P&P mouse, there wont’ be an option. If you had to install the software for it, then there would *most likely* be an option.
